TERMS AND CONDITIONS - DELIVERIES – RETURNS – REFUNDS
DELIVERY BULK FIREWOOD
Ordering bulk firewood buy phone or online can take from 1 hour to 36 hours for your delivery to arrive, these estimated times depend on the delivery schedule for each day.
Other factors like weather, machinery failure and high demand could delay our normal delivery times, in this case we will notify you soon as possible, our aim is to have your wood and products delivered to you fast as possible.
We do not give exact delivery times unless your order is booked in at least 1 to 2 weeks in advance, book in times are either early morning or late afternoons.
We can give you 30min notice before delivery if needed just let us know, otherwise we will just drop off to the location advised.
When expecting a delivery and please do not block the delivery location if you are not going to be home.
ONLINE PURCHASE AND ECOMMERCE DELIVERIES: CANBERRA SURROUNDS AND AUSTRALIA WIDE
For small product deliveries we use Australia post, local courier services and also our own delivery vehicles.
All orders received by 2pm Mon – Fri business days will be dispatched the same day.
Combined postage can be done for multiple small items.
Small parcel orders can also be delivered with your load of Firewood in the Canberra and Queanbeyan region free of charge
All orders need delivery instructions, this helps the us know where to put your parcels at your home or business on delivery
All orders must have delivery instructions (where to drop firewood) when looking at house from road.
When ordering your load of firewood, please provide instructions on where to drop your load of Firewood.
Examples: drop wood on red gravel next to drive way, drop wood on drive way in front garage door, drop firewood in front of gate right hand side of house, drop my parcel off at front door.
These instructions help us to maintain a fast and a efficient delivery service.
We use tipper trucks to deliver your firewood the back tray goes up in the air and firewood slides out the back.
Dangerous Delivery
Our aim is to deliver your firewood exactly where you want it as fast as possible, but if the area is dangerous to tip off or there is risk of damaging property or delivery vehicles then we will have to choose another spot to drop off (The delivery driver will access this). If a 2nd spot is not available for us to drop off an $88 delivery / cancelation fee will be charged, Please note we have never had this happen before please be flexible with a 2nd spot if needed.
What could stop a delivery being dropped exactly where you want it, Power lines to low to tip, Tipping across a hill up, Low roof eves cannot fit truck under, Tipping under really low trees, Driveway to narrow or hedges grown to big, Ground is to wet or muddy.
Refunds / Returns Firewood
If a firewood order has been made and you wish to cancel the full purchase amount can be refunded.
If the delivery vehicle has already been loaded or is on the way before a cancelation takes place $88 fee will be deducted from your refund, if we have somewhere else to tip off we will not charge for this.
If your order has been delivered and you believe there is a problem with the product we have supplied, please call us on 02 6299 4014 so we resolve the issue asap. if we cannot resolve the issue the product may be removed or replaced for no extra fee or any money paid refunded.
Ecommerce return
FAULTY ITEM
All returns must be verified before goods are returned, please contact us before returning your item.
If your item is faulty on arrival or faulty after opening, please take pictures before and after opening and contact us via email: canberrafirewood@gmail.com with pictures and description so we can have this situation rectified for you. Faulty items can be returned to us and exchanged at no expense to you after the faulty item has been assessed we will email you a pre-paid postage label which you can use to resend the item back to us. We aim to have exchanges or refunds refunded within 1 to 2days, but in some cases this could take up to 2 weeks as some faults need to be approved by the manufacturer before a refund or exchange can be issued.
Faulty item needs to be received and verified by staff before exchange is made and reposted.
Ecommerce EXCHANGES FOR ANOTHER PRODUCT
All returns must be verified before goods are returned, please contact us before returning your item.
When exchanging your goods, the item must be returned in original new condition (unless faulty) without any signs of wear, user damage, no odours can be present on item and tags must be in place, please do not damage the item package.
Exchanged item needs to be received and verified by staff before exchange is made and reposted.
RETURNS AND TERMS AND CONDITIONS
All returns must be verified before goods are returned, please contact us before returning your item.
Returning goods to the sender you no longer wish to purchase the item you have received or you would like to exchange for another item, the item must be returned in original new condition without any signs of wear, user damage, no odours can be present on item, tags must be in place, serial numbers must match the item you purchased from us, buyer is to cover return postage costs (if item was not faulty) and re post cost from warehouse for exchange item.
Items that have been used and damaged cannot be returned to us through no fault of our store.
Items that have been returned to us after inspection, the item is found to be tampered with in any way and would not allow us to resell the item in a brand-new condition. The item will not be excepted and will be returned at buyers’ expense.
